As of March 2024, the all-time youngest Academy Award nominee in an acting category was Justin Henry, who was just eight years old when he was nominated for his role as Billy in "Kramer vs Kramer" (1979). One of the most recent additions to the top 11 was Quvenzhané Wallis, who was nine years old when she received an Oscar nomination for her role in "Beasts of the Southern Wild" (2012).
