This data illustrates the number of vacation trips undertaken by German millennials in the last 12 months in 2021. That year, among millennials ages 26 to 31 years, 41.2 percent had gone on one vacation trip in the last 12 months, while 40.6 percent had not travelled for a vacation at all.

The term „millennial“ (Generation Y) refers to the birth years of the respondents, from 1981 to 1995. This classification differs by source. According to the definition used here, at the time of the survey in 2021, millennials were aged between 26 and 40 years.

2021: 23,299 respondents, projection to 70.54 million people.

Information on target group “millennials” (26 to 31 years):
2,242 respondents, projection to 6.21 million people.

Information on target group “millennials” (32 to 40 years):
3,026 respondents, projection to 9.35 million people.
