This statistic illustrates the share of new car buyers who purchased a vehicle online in Italy in 2018, broken down by platform used to find the dealer.
According to the survey results, about half of respondents found their online car dealer via search engines, while approximately four in ten respondents found it via online advertising. A smaller share of respondents, 28 percent, came across their car dealer on the car maker's website.
