Broadcom revenue 2014-2024
In 2024, Broadcom's revenue amounted to approximately 51.6 billion U.S. dollars. The latest figure represents an increase of over 15 billion U.S. dollars from the 35.9 billion U.S. dollars recorded by the company in the previous fiscal year. This impressive growth underscores Broadcom's strong market position and its ability to capitalize on increasing demand for networking, broadband, and storage solutions.
Technology expertise paying dividends
The company's revenue growth was driven by significant increases in both its semiconductor solutions and infrastructure software segments. While semiconductor solutions revenue rose by approximately two billion U.S. dollars to reach 30 billion U.S. dollars in 2024, the infrastructure software segment experienced a remarkable surge. Revenue from this segment jumped substantially, reaching 21.5 billion U.S. dollars that same year, compared to 7.6 billion U.S. dollars in 2023.
Capitalizing on the AI boom
Investment in AI accelerators and networking solutions by the leading cloud providers helped contribute towards Broadcom’s sizable revenue growth. Broadcom also benefits from being able to combine semiconductor technologies with software solutions, aided by the company’s merger with VMware, a leading enterprise software company.
