Share of public health expenditure by state governments in India FY 2014-2018
As per the budget estimates for fiscal year 2018, state governments in India had a share of 63 percent in the total public health expenditure. This was a big decrease compared to the previous fiscal year when state governments contributed around 71 percent to the total public health budget in the country.
