Outbound tourism expenses in Poland 2023, by type and trip duration
Polish tourists on longer trips abroad naturally had higher expenses than those on shorter trips in 2023. Outbound tourists spent approximately 31.2 billion zloty on trips lasting five days or more, compared to more than four billion for those staying for only two to four days. Same-day visitors, however, spent much more on shopping than all overnight tourists, with expenses reaching nearly seven billion zloty.
