This statistic displays the number of road sections that have been included in the Spanish road safety index in 2019, broken down by level of risk and type of road. As can bee seen in the graph, 309 double carriageway roads were classified as low-risk. In contrast, only one double carriageway road sections were classified as high-risk.

For the preparation of the report, a total of 4,096 accidents occurred in the Roads Network between 2012 and 2016, which were assigned to 1,389 sections of roads with a length of more than 24,899 kilometers.
