The most significant change in sales value was seen in July 2023, when sales increased by 5.7 percent on the previous year. Meanwhile, in June 2024, retail spending increased by 1.6 percent in the last year.

*Small format stores up to 300 m2 include: small grocery stores up to 40 m2, medium-sized grocery stores 41-100 m2, large grocery stores 101-300 m2, specialist alcohol stores. The data was obtained on the basis of a representative, nationwide sample of grocery stores with a surface area up to 300 m2 and liquor stores. At the same time, the stores covered by the survey reflect 60 percent of the total retail market in Poland.
