This statistic presents the results of a survey about the main drivers for growing skincare spending in China as of 2017. During the survey period, around 28 percent of Chinese respondents who increased their spending on skincare in the past one year said that a "minor upgrade", i.e., purchasing more expensive products of the same brand, was the main reason for higher expenses on skincare.
