This statistic presents the estimated number of deaths which could be averted by using only electric public transportation in selected cities in Latin America between 2017 and 2030. By 2030, an estimated of nearly 6,300 deaths associated with air quality could be prevented in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina, using exclusively electric public transport.
