In 2022, there were nearly 151,000 HIV prevalent cases in Colombia. By area, the central region of Colombia had the highest number of prevalent HIV cases, with approximately 43,000. Bogota followed, with around 30,000 people diagnosed with the disease. HIV prevalence was higher among individuals between 25 and 49 years.
