Average reach per issue of free newspapers in Belgium 2017-2019
The reach of free newspapers, or so-called "push press", depends on language in Belgium, regardless of physical or digital versions. On average, a copy of Dutch-language free newspaper De Zondag reached 15 percent of the population in 2019, a decrease compared to the previous year. French-language push press, on the other hand, saw a slight growth. Proximag-Avenir, for example, saw its reach increase by roughly 1.5 percentage point between 2018 and 2019.
