As of 2021, the most in-demand skills (to be developed by researchers) in the market research industry worldwide varied greatly according to the role of the organization . During the survey, 64 percent of the respondents on the supplier-side of the market mentioned innovative focus as the most in-demand skill in their organization. On the other hand, 70 percent of the buyers considered business knowledge as the most important skill for their organization.
