FDI global inflows by region 2022-2023

In 2023, there were an estimated 1.3 trillion U.S. dollars in foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows globally, a slight  decrease from the previous year. Asia recorded the highest sum of inflows at 621 billion U.S. dollars. Meanwhile, the FDI balance of Europe was 16 billion U.S. dollars.
