Assets of top 300 pension funds globally 2012-2023
The value of assets of the leading 300 pension funds worldwide generally increased during the period from 2012 to 2023, albeit with some fluctuations. In 2023, the value of assets was approximately 22.64 trillion U.S. dollars, an increase of around two trillion U.S. dollars from the previous year. The value of assets was 14 trillion U.S. dollars in 2012, so there has been an overall increase of around 8.6 trillion U.S. dollars over the time period under observation.
