Share of rural and urban active users of WhatsApp in India 2017-2018

As per the results of a survey on WhatsApp usage in India in 2017 and 2018, it was found that there was a ten percent increase in the share of active WhatsApp users in rural India to reach around 20 percent in 2018. This was about 38 percent in urban areas during the survey period.
