Habits in the use of headache painkillers among students in Italy 2018, by gender
A survey conducted in Italy in 2018 asked secondary school students in which cases they took drugs against headache. According to data, 42.3 percent of male and 46.2 percent of female students affirmed to take painkillers only in case the headache did not go away by itself after a while. However, a small share of male respondents (9.8 percent) declared to use medication against headache as soon as they noticed the first few symptoms.
