According to data from IPSOS, respondents in Spain estimated that 13 out of the last 18 years were the hottest on record worldwide. Out of the past 18 years, 17 have been the hottest on record.

Original question: The World Meteorological Organization collects annual global temperatures, to see whether they are rising or falling across the world. How many of the last 18 years have been the hottest for the world as a whole since they began collecting data in 1961?
