Online fashion market share in the Netherlands 2018
This statistic shows the market share of online fashion in the Netherlands as of December 2018. The source uses its own methodology to calculate the online market share, the so-called "theoretical market share" (in Dutch: theoretisch marktaandeel), in response to numbers reported by the Dutch e-commerce association Thuiswinkel.org. During the survey, Dutch households indicated that 64 percent of them bought clothing online. On average, this 64 percent spent 43 percent of their total budget online. That (64 times 0.43) would lead to a theoretical market share of approximately 28 percent, which was the highest of all product segments in the Netherlands.
