Perceived and actual unemployment rate in Hong Kong 2018
This statistic presents the results of a survey on perceived unemployment rate among working age population in Hong Kong as of October 2018. According to data published by Ipsos, respondents in Hong Kong overestimated the level of unemployment. On average, the respondents thought that around 14 out of every 100 people of working age in Hong Kong were unemployed and looking for work, when the actual unemployment rate was three percent in Hong Kong.
