This graph shows the opinion of French surveyed regarding the reintroduction of the solidarity tax on wealth (French: Impôt de solidarité sur la fortune ISF) in 2018. The survey reveals that 43 percent of respondents were in favor of the government reintroducing this tax.
The Solidarity tax on wealth, most commonly known as ISF, was an annual direct wealth tax in France on households having assets in excess of 1,300,000 euros. Introduced in 1981 Socialist's electoral program it was replaced in 2017 with the tax on real estate (IFI).
