This statistic shows the influences on Singaporeans' purchasing decisions as of August 2018. During the period surveyed, when asked which of the following had ever influenced the participants' decisions to purchase a product, online reviews ranked the highest, with 70 percent of the respondents indicating they were influenced by them. Celebrities had the least impact on the participants' purchasing decisions with only 22 percent of respondents indicated they had purchased a product as a result of being influenced by a celebrity.
