The statistic displays the results of a survey of trust in news reported in national newspapers among youth in the Netherlands in 2018. The survey results suggest that as of 2018, a large majority of 16 to 34 year olds in the Netherlands trusted the news they read in national newspapers. Over 30 percent of survey respondents expressed a high level of trust in national newspapers, while a further 48 percent of respondents trusted national news to a reasonable degree.
