Generational comparison of mobile and branch banking use Australia 2018
This statistic depicts the results of a survey that compares the usage of mobile and branch banking in Australia as of October 2018, based on generation. During the six months examined, younger generations favored mobile banking; 38.1 percent of respondents from the pre-boomer generation stated that they had been to a bank branch in the last four weeks and 6.2 percent said they had used mobile banking. In contrast, 13.9 percent of respondents in the generation Z category said they had used branch banking and 53.6 percent had used mobile banking.
