The prevalence of use of beta blockers among individuals suffering from hypertension in Italy increased between 2006 and 2021. According to the data, in fact, in 2006 around 25 percent of individuals affected by this disease were taking beta blockers, while by 2021 this figure reached roughly 32.9 percent.
