This statistic displays the most interesting features of energy saving monitors in the Netherlands in 2017. Home energy monitors are increasingly being promoted by energy suppliers alongside smart meters. Well-known monitors in the Netherlands are the "Essent Thuis App", "Toon", the app from Eneco and the "Mijn Nuon App". As of 2017, approximately 35 percent of the respondents indicated that the insight into the most energy consuming devices that are used is the most interesting feature of a home energy monitor. Roughly 28 percent said that an insight into the ups and downs of their energy consumption is an interesting feature, while 24 percent of the respondents mentioned the advice on how to lessen the energy consumption of certain devices.
