Importance of art fairs for contemporary visual arts in the Netherlands 2017
The statistic displays the results of a survey concerning the importance of art fairs for contemporary visual arts in the Netherlands in 2017. The survey results show that as of 2017, the vast majority of art buyers and collectors surveyed considered the art fair to be an important place to orientate themselves on contemporary visual arts. Roughly 80 percent of respondents either agreed or strongly agreed that the art fair played an important role for them, while just ten percent did not see art fairs as important places for this reason.
