In 2022, approximately 87.62 percent of reported dengue fever infection cases in Peru did not present any concerning symptoms as of the last epidemiological week of that year. Dengue fever cases with some of these symptoms represented around 12 percent of the recorded infections in the South American country, while severe dengue made up only 0.31 percent of the total cases. As of that time, the number of Dengue infections reached over 72 thousand in Peru.
