According to survey results, the profitability of the social enterprises surveyed increased between 2015 and 2017, only to slightly decrease in 2018. In 2015, close to 45 percent of the social enterprises included in the survey made a loss. By 2017, this figure had dropped to 28 percent. In 2018, 36 percent of the social enterprise did not reach break-even.
