Brazil: share of adults with high cholesterol 2013-2016
This statistic shows the results of a survey about consumers' lifestyles in Brazil carried out from 2013 to 2016. In 2016, nearly 23 percent of respondents aged 18 and older claimed to have been diagnosed with dyslipidemia, a disease commonly known for the presence of a high level of cholesterol in the blood. On average, 20 percent of respondents said they suffered from this disease in 2014.
