In 2024, white respondents had the highest rates of confidence about being able to meet the costs of a college education in the United States (U.S.). Meanwhile, 44 percent of Hispanic respondents and 46 of Black respondents were completely confident about being able to pay the costs of college education. On the other side of the spectrum, two percent of white and black respondents were unconfident about being able to meet these costs.
