This statistic shows the leading China's Belt and Road Initiative's (BRI) construction contracts as of February 2019, by value. By that time, approximately 6.8 billion U.S. dollar contract of a rail construction project in Nigeria contracted to China Railway Construction Corporation was a single largest BRI construction contract.
Belt and Road Initiative, launched in fall of 2013, is China's transcontinental development project meant to improve connectivity between Asia, Europe and Africa, and consequently to increase trade and economic cooperation.
