This statistic illustrates the total share of core equity tier 1 capital of European banks from June 2011 to June 2018. It can be seen that the share of core equity tier 1 capital of European banks increased year on year during the period observed. In 2011 the share of core equity tier 1 capital amounted to 5.3 percent, by 2018, this had risen to 14.2 percent, an increase of 8.9 percent.
