Main characteristics of wine and culinary tourists in Italy 2021

According to a 2021 survey conducted in Italy, six out of ten responding food and wine tourists said they like to taste new dishes during their culinary trips or experiences. Meanwhile, roughly three in ten surveyed Italians mentioned that they prefer local gastronomic establishments over big companies or food chains.
