Energy consumption of road transport in Finland 2007-2017, by fuel type
This statistic shows the consumption of energy in road transport in Finland from 2007 to 2017, by fuel type. Throughout the survey period, diesel fuel was the dominant fuel type in road transport. In 2017, more than 106,600 terajoules of diesel fuel was consumed, followed by motor gasoline with approximately 56,500 terajoules. During that year, natural gas was the least consumed road transport energy type with 92 terajoules.
