This statistic displays the market share of total insurance premiums distribution channels in Italy from 2012 to 2018. In 2018, bancassurance dominated the market with banks and other lending institutions accounting for almost 60 percent of the total sales of insurance products in Italy, followed by agents which accounted for 28.4 percent of the total.
