In 2022, 44 percent of surveyed art buyers preferred the offline buying experience, while 12 percent mentioned online sales channels. Overall, nearly half of the sample did not have specific buying preferences. In 2022, total online sales of the art and antiques market worldwide amounted to roughly 11 billion U.S. dollars.
