As of February 14, 2022, the Netherlands had the most expensive super unleaded petroleum in Europe, with a total pump price of 1.71 British pounds per liter. Nearly 58 percent of the Dutch petrol pump price were taxes and duties. Finland followed, with a total petrol pump price of 1.61 British pounds per liter, of which over 57 percent were taxes and duties.
