The categorization is as follows:
Affluent households - the households which have at least six of the following: a) pucca house b) electricity connection c) phone (landline/mobile) d) TV e) AC/cooler f) refrigerator g) washing machine h) motorized vehicle (car/motorcycles/tractors).
Middle income households - those households which have at least two and not more than five of the above.
Poor households - those households which have none or only one of the above.
