Despite a slight decrease in 2019, the share of male direct sales representatives in Brazil showed a significant increase at the end of the past decade. Between 2013 and 2019, the percentage of Brazilian men working as direct sales independent representatives went up from six to 13 percent. Nevertheless, women still accounted for the majority of people working on this field in the South American country during the depicted period. In 2019, cosmetics and personal care represented over 74 percent of the direct retail sales in Brazil.
