This statistic shows the level of confidence held by the public of surveyed countries in various institutions, as of July 2018. Based on the survey conducted by Ipsos in June and July 2018, 41 percent of people have no confidence at all in political parties. Furthermore, 39 percent stated that they did not have very much confidence.

The following countries were included in the survey with 500 to 1.000+ respondents each: Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Peru, Poland, Russia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, and the United States.
In the United States and Canada, the surveyed age was 18-64. For all other countries surveyed it was 16-64.
