This statistic depicts the results of a survey conducted between June and July 2017 about parent's expectations towards their children aged four to eleven years doing exercise and sports in Japan. The surveyed revealed that the majority of respondents, about 77.3 percent, expected their child to improve their physical fitness. In contrast, only 0.3 percent didn't have any expectations towards their child doing sports.
