Spectating rate of live sports events in Japan 2022, by age
According to a survey conducted in Japan between June and July of 2022, the age group that attended live sporting events as spectators the most were 18 to 19 year old people, represented by close to 31 percent of all respondents. The second largest demographic of stadium-goers were 40 to 49-year-olds at approximately 24 percent. Beyond this age, spectators became fewer the older they were.
