This statistic displays the distribution of the per capita alcohol consumption in the Netherlands in 2016, by type of beverage. In this year, the Dutch on average drank 12 liters of pure alcohol per person. Roughly half of this consumption consisted of beer, whereas wine accounted for 36 percent of the total alcohol consumption in 2016.
