This statistic displays the share of individuals in England that are fearful of cancer and Alzheimer's disease as of 2018, by age. According to the results, as an individual becomes older they begin to fear Alzheimer's disease and dementia more: 49 percent of those aged 65 years and older fear the disease, while only 21 percent of those aged 18 to 24 years ranked it as their most feared disease.
