Leading furniture retailers ranked by turnover in Europe 2020

This statistic presents the turnover of leading furniture retailers in Europe in 2020. That year, Swedish company IKEA was the leading furniture retailer in Europe, accumulating a turnover of approximately 14.7 billion euros. IKEA not only has a great presence in the European furniture market, but is also global player, ranking as the eleventh most valuable retail brand worldwide in that same year. Four of the top ten furniture retailers in Europe are based in Germany, with Otto Group producing the highest turnover out of these four, at approximately three billion euros. Multichannel retail across numerous areas, including clothing, furniture and technology, is the core of Otto Group's business and is comprised of three different distribution channels: e-commerce, catalog, and over-the-counter retail. This sector of the company's business generated a total revenue of over 12.8 billion euros in the fiscal year 2017/18.
