This statistic presents the results of a 2017 survey that asked takeaway users in Great Britain the reasons why they have not used recipe boxes (also known as meal kits). The results are broken down be frequent and infrequent users of takeaway services. The main reason for not using recipe boxes was down to cost, with a total of 67 percent of takeaway users stating they could not afford to buy them.
