Discovering the landscapes and the wine-growing villages was the most popular reason to visit the region of Bordeaux among wine tourists in 2019, followed by the wine or spirit tastings offered in the area. According to a survey, more than 60 percent of the responding wine tourists chose those two reasons as their most important motivations.
