The iron and steel mills and ferro-alloy manufacturing industry's gross domestic product grew by just over 12 percent from January to December 2023. Numbers were at their lowest in January and February and fluctuated throughout the year. In November, Canada recorded the highest value of iron and steel mills and ferro-alloy production of approximately 3.5 billion Canadian dollars.
