This statistic displays the total number of employees in the tourism industry in Turkey in 2019, by industry sector. With over 717 thousand employees, enterprises in the food and beverage service sector had the highest number of employees in the tourism industry in Turkey. This was followed by the land transport and the transport via pipelines sector with over 598 thousand employees. Enterprises in the cultural sector including museums and libraries had the lowest number of employees among tourism-related sectors.
